Nick is UK based freelance Sound Designer specialising in Theatre, Dance & Live Events.
He spent many years as Head of Sound on a number of West End shows including Sunset Boulevard, Jesus Christ Superstar and Bombay Dreams before concentrating on design around 16 years ago.
He is privileged to have a diverse portfolio that includes productions for Robert Wilson, National Theatre of Scotland, National Theatre GB, Birmingham Stage Company, Wayne McGregor to name just a few. These productions range from family oriented theatre to full-scale abstract opera-style works and performance art.
His work has been presented all over the world as many of the productions he is involved with tour both in the UK and Internationally and range from smaller scale works to multi-thousand seat venues requiring not only soundscapes but bespoke sound systems for performer mic’ing and general broadcast.
He has also written the music for a few productions including ‘Men Should Weep’ and ‘A Doll’s House’ for National Theatre of Scotland.
When not travelling the world making noises (!) Nick spends time at home in his studio helping to develop young artists and bands as well as creating new sounds for future projects.
